Many activities require us to confirm our identities—whether we are traveling, paying for items, unlocking our smartphones, accessing public or private services, enjoying entertainment or even voting. Biometrics are an efficient means to complete the authentication process in person or online, while maintaining security, ease of use and speed. As our daily lives are increasingly permeated by the use of biometrics, some of you may still be curious to know why we use them and how the solutions that deploy them work.

Through a dedicated program, we invite you to explore what biometrics are and how the solutions using biometrics can help better protect our private data.

On November 9, we’ll be launching a series of videos and infographics that answer the questions being asked about biometrics. We will keep this page updated with new content and keep you informed via our social media channels with the hashtag #MeetWithBiometrics.

In the coming weeks, you will gain all the key information you need to understand the use cases that involve biometrics (including fingerprint, iris and facial recognition). You will also learn about multi-biometrics, algorithms, privacy and much more!

Stay tuned and let’s open the discussion on biometrics!
