Safran Identity & Security will participate in APP-SOLUTELY IoT, a thought leadership event taking place at CTIA Super Mobility 2016 in Las Vegas, September 8. During the event, Safran customer IMETRIK, Internet of Things (IoT) solution provider and mobile network operator, will present an IoT case study on security and connectivity management.
The Internet of Things is evolving rapidly with interoperability and industry cooperations being crucial to its business success. APP-SOLUTELY IoT, a break out session during CTIA, offers an excellent opportunity for CIOs, IT leaders, application developers, solution providers, device makers, end users, mobile operators, and corporate decision makers to network and discover how they can take advantage of IoT in their organizations and for their customers. Participants will benefit from topics ranging from deploying IoT devices in the field and choosing a connectivity provider to managing the IoT security risks and how to generate revenue with IoT.
During Safran's case study presentation Guy Chevrette, CEO of IMETRIK, will focus on innovative IoT connectivity solutions: "On the way to commercial success of IoT, two key aspects have to be considered: interoperability and security", says Chevrette, adding: "Safran, a long time partner of ours, understands this perfectly. Utilizing Safran's embedded technology we have designed a solution that meets the security and flexibility needs of our telematics customers."
