IDEMIA’s has received First Level Security Certification (CSPN) by the French National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI) for its Online Gaming Vault—a multi-jurisdiction gaming compliance solution for online gaming operators.
This certification was granted following a series of vulnerability tests performed by Oppida, an independent laboratory accredited by ANSSI. Testing confirmed that IDEMIA’s Online Gaming Vault reached its target level of security for all functions that ensure data traceability and secure data storage for gaming compliance and secure gaming.
As a national authority, the ANSSI reports to the General Secretary for Defence and National Security (SGDSN), who assists the Prime Minister in fulfilling his responsibilities in terms of national defence and security. The role of ANSSI is to foster a coordinated, ambitious, pro-active response to cybersecurity issues in France. Among a broad range of regulatory and operational activities, ANSSI oversees or issues security visas for trusted products and service providers.
This CSPN certification attests to the high security and reliability of IDEMIA’s Online Gaming Vault. Gaming operators using the solution benefit from gambling compliance with requirements by the ANJ (Autorité nationale des jeux, the French National Gambling Authority) as soon as they decide to operate in the market. It also gives European operators and regulators the assurance that this multi-jurisdiction gaming compliance service meets very high security standards, dictated by a national cybersecurity authority.
