IDEMIA reinforces its identity technology leadership with biometric enrollment and background check contracts with several U.S. state agencies

More than two dozen states rely on IDEMIA for identity verification and enrollment services.

IDEMIA continues to demonstrate its industry leadership in biometrics with several recent contracts with U.S. states that will support fingerprint capture in background checks for a wide range of jobs and activities.

Notably, the new contracts are with the States of Washington, West Virginia, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas.

At the same time, IDEMIA has also been awarded a new contract with the State of Delaware for enrollment services including digital fingerprinting.

The contract terms range between two to seven years, and mostly come with the option of incremental one-or-two-year renewals.

IDEMIA delivers expertise deeply rooted in biometric technology. In the United States, IDEMIA provides identity verification and enrollment services to more than two dozen states and is the leading driver’s license provider to 36 states representing 70 percent of the driver’s licenses issued in the United States.

IDEMIA is also an authorized service provider for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and one of the few companies approved to submit fingerprints to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) as well as receive background check information from the FBI.
