To make its latest innovation possible, Ticket, the Benefits and Engagement brand of Edenred Brasil, has partnered with IDEMIA Secure Transactions (IST), a leader in providing secure technological solutions for the digital payments sector, after a longstanding relationship between the two companies. Together, they bring the integration with Google Pay and Apple Pay, allowing people who use Cartão Ticket, Ticket Restaurante, Ticket Alimentação, Ticket Flex and Ticket Super Flex to make payments using their mobile phones.

IST supports Edenred Brasil in digitizing Ticket cards in third-party mobile wallets, through its proprietary platform “IDEMIA Token Platform”. The tokenization technology used replaces valuable data with equivalent elements (tokens), which have no value outside the system. The solution includes the use of the contactless White label Discover technology (D-PAS – C6), selected to enable NFC Ticket tokens in the POS terminal.

Throughout the development of the Google and Apple Pay integration projects, IDEMIA Secure Transactions’ global team, together with a fully dedicated team in Brazil, with professionals across engineering, solutions architecture, project managers, customer success, systems integration and support, worked alongside professionals from Ticket and acquiring companies.
By enabling the digitisation of their cards in Apple Pay, following last years successful integration in Google Pay, IST continues to support Edenred in delivering secure and seamless contactless payment experiences.
